Captrain Benelux arrived in Belgium originally in 2000 with the opening of a commercial office in Brussels.
The 100% shareholder is our parent company Fret SNCF.
In January 2007, Captrain opened a new Headquarters office in Antwerp at Tavernierkaai 2, in the heart of the commercial sector of the port . The original Brussel's office was closed in April 2007.
In Septembre 2009, our Headquarters has been moved to Italiëlei 2 at Antwerp.
The production operations office for Captrain is located adjacent to the Schijnpoort rail terminal, from where we control our locomotives and drivers. We also operate 24/7 on call management center at Schijnpoort.
From the new Antwerp headquarters Captrain intend to evolve services linking all of Benelux with France via efficient block trains operated in open access.
We are also ambitious to initiate local port services in Antwerp for intra port and last mile traction either alone or with partners. We will also consider in future entering the Benelux - Germany market and we would be interested to hear from you if you would like us to develop a logistic solution in any of these markets.
